Nashville Here We Come

One would think that if they did not go to bed until around 3 in the morning that sleeping in would be a piece of cake! Well I could not have been more wrong..

I only slept in until 7.. I was none too happy with my body @ this point needless to say! Leia on the other hand slept in until 10 & the only reason she got up then was because I went & awoken her.. 

Before I had awoken her I woke up with a lovely hangover! I went straight for the Excedrin & decided I needed food & a big huge coke from Sonic... Hello caffeine my new best friend of the day!

After I had returned with Breakfast I ate mine while watching episodes of Criminal Minds! Bokah Bear decided she was still tired too so she just layed beside me the whole entire time & for her that is rare! She normally is up & moving everywhere.. But as soon as I asked her if she wanted some din din she was on the prowl hovering over me as I fixed her breakfast..

Leia also had a lovely hangover & just like me had to have Excedrin as well... After she had taken some it was off to get ready for Nashville! 

Two hours later around noon we was finally ready & leaving the house! We was finally Nashville bound... Cokes in our hands, sunglasses on, & music down low compared to normal!  Here is a picture I took on the way there..

We had originally planned on going to Franklin to visit Gentry Farm.. I wanted some dang pumpkins plus they had me at hayrides, baby animals & corn mazes.. Score! I swear I am still a child at heart. 

After that adventure we was going to have some photos made at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens & Radnor Lake however due to the fact that we did not like sunlight thanks to our hangovers we decided we could come back & attempt this a whole other day.. I still need my Fall photos done so I can send them out to family & friends for Christmas!

The only thing we ended up doing was going to the mall, going out to eat & me visiting a friend.. I must admit this was the shortest mall visit we have ever encountered! It did not last longer then 3 hours.. That should be put in the record books because normally Lee Lee & I can shut a mall down! Here is some goodies from the mall trip..

I walked away with:

3 new bras

7 new pair of underwear

& 2 new perfumes

Seeing Chris was nice! It has been a while since I had last gotten to see him so catching up for a few was great.. We took new photos together which I loved even more! I cannot believe it has been 3 1/2 years of knowing this crazy man whom I love to pieces even on his bad days...

Chris & the boys wanted us to come out to the bars but Lee Lee & I was too tired & wanted naps.. We was pitiful ladies on Sunday after our night out Saturday of too much drinking! 

Over all we enjoyed our weekend :)

Nite Out With The Crew

It was the night of October 12th. The air was cool & it turned out to be one fun filled night! Leia & I had originally planned to go to Nashville but miss priss forgot she had to go to a wedding so we postponed the trip until Sunday! So we decided to have a night out with the crew.. 

But before the night out with our crew I spend most of the day enjoying the outside weather on the porch in the rocking chair. I loved being all curled up while reading my nook! I have been reading the new Nicholas Sparks book called The Longest Ride! I took a quick photo too while outside..

We got dressed up & looked gorgeous as always! Leia decided not to take a before shot but miss blogger over here did..

Our night started off @ the Cooke House & ended with the 19th Hole... Now for us ladies the Cooke House was great but as far as the 19th Hole its our least favorite.. We even did not mind the bars in between!

While @ the Cooke House it was just us ladies but soon after we went to another bar to meet up with our crew of men.. From then on out it was all of us together! We had a fun enjoyable evening out together... Here are a few of the drinks that I enjoyed!

I did not have my camera with me sadly & what I did have was my phone however it was pretty much dead by the time I wanted to take pictures of us all so I only ended up with two before my phone shut itself off.. I was not a happy girl when it shut down!

By 2:30 in the wee early hours of morning we all decided it was time to take ourselves home! We was all exhausted & knew come morning that several of us if not all of us would have major hangovers..

If you wanna know how my following day went just check back in Tuesday! I would write about it sooner but I have plans set for tomorrow! Lucky for me on Friday I did my Monday post :) But I promise come Monday night I will write about the next day hangover/trip to Nashville!

Get Tested??

The big question to ask...

Will you or will you not get tested for an STD?

If you do then no questions will be wondered!

If you do not get tested there is too many unanswered questions..

I myself choose to ask those that I have been with to get tested!

Do you agree or disagree with my choice?

This is how I look at my choice & decision..

As of now I do not have any disease! 

I have always been tested along with my significant other..

I do not feel that it is wrong to ask them to get tested! 

If they truly care about you as more then just a sex toy then they will do it for your peace of mind..

Now days too many men as well as women seem to think one night stands are great & easy but with that leads to contact & with contact of these one night stand those leads to STD's!

It also may not be a one night stand but a night where your significant other may have cheated & gotten something..

I am a nurse & I feel like because of this I constantly wonder & worry way more then most do about this subject...

I am around so many things day in & day out that I am sure by now I have seen things that some have never seen unless they are in the nursing field with me!

If your significant other was to say no to being tested would you stay with them?

My answer is simply NO...

I would be concerned that they currently had something & was just trying to prolong the inevitable of me finding out!

Therefore I would have to say goodbye & end that relationship automatically..

Reasons as to why?

Well for starters I feel like if they truly loved me then they would want me to know all truths good & bad!

That they would want me to feel comfortable having sex with them knowing they did not have anything...

STD's are not something to take lightly some can be taken with meds & in time will go away, some you can take meds & stay alive while still having the disease & then there are the ones you cannot change ever & you die from them sadly! 

I know that this can & will be a touchy subject but now days I feel like it is a must have subject to be heard & talked about! Its life, its real, & it happens all to common now days! It is way better to be safe then sorry! Do you agree or disagree??

I just love you during this time of year! You are so very yummy... What better drink to have from Starbucks then you? Since it finally feels like Fall its nice to enjoy you on the porch while reading the nook!

Dear Nashville:

Since Lee Lee & I cannot be in Florida as planned due to life & being adults at least a trip to visit you tomorrow will be fun for the day! Hello shopping :)

Dear Lee Lee:

I am glad we get to have some girl time tomorrow together! We always have so much fun when we are together :)

Dear Fall:

I am loving you so far! You are great & are allowing me to enjoy all my fun Fall things such as making wreaths, baking, shopping, Fall clothing, & so much more! I think my favorite is just being outside to enjoy you..

Dear Florida:

I know we had to postpone coming to you but its nice to know we still get to come for a week even if it was a later date then planned! I for one cannot wait to see your white sandy beaches, sea shells, fish, & so much more :)

Things I Am Lovin

I am loving that yesterday I went & saw Battle Of The Year in theaters! It was good :) 

I am loving that in 8 days I will be packing for Punta Gorda & in 9 days I will be heading that way! Hello Florida :)

I am loving that tonight a friend & I are going to Amazing Acres! Hello corn mazes, jumpers, farm life, bonfires, hayrides & of course sweet little pumpkins :)

One thing I am not loving is the fact that Lee Lee & I just talked & since her & her soon to be hubby run/own a restaurant we no longer will be leaving for Florida when we had planned  ;( That means no Howl O Scream! Since they are not as staffed as per normal she will have to stay there to help out! We are still going but now we wont be going until November or December :( If we go in November it will be around Thanksgiving time & in December we have a better option of choices! The joys of having a grown up life I guess you could say...
