BE MINE! on this sweet day :)

I just wanted to start off by saying Happy Valentines Day My sweet ladies! I hope you all have an amazing day today :)

Every year for the past 23 years I have always had amazing Valentine Day presents gifts, foods & such but this year I wanted to do things a little differently. I decided that I did not want gifts that was bought unless it was food we cooked together or something in that sort. Meaning I did not want to go out to eat at all & so forth. Instead I wanted to have breakfast at home with something cute  to eat that shows its Valentines day then afterwards just spend the day with my significant other :)

This morning I was awakened my my sweet man whom had made me Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast with pink icing as well ad fruit heart shaped with pink dip! Cute right? I thought it was! I was in love to say the least. He is the most thoughtful, caring, kind, loving man a girl could ever ask for & I am so thankful that he is mine to love not just today but every single day!

For those of you who like this & want the recipe here it is :
1 tube Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls
2-3 drops red food coloring
red sugar sprinkles


Preheat oven to 350. Open package & with each roll, unroll the dough halfway then roll the unrolled end into a small spiral. You will end up with two spiral end. Make sure the spirals are touching then pinch them together. Cook for about 10 minutes until golden brown. While they bake place icing in a bowl add food coloring & stir then place in a freezer bag  & set it aside. Once they are done making let them cool then cut a small hole in the bag & put as much or as little icing as you want on each then sprinkle the red sugar sprinkles on top :)

The rest of our Valentines Day will be spend at home watching romantic love movies together, as well as cooking dinner together! I cannot wait to just have a relaxed evening alone with him! Some may say how boring but I am far from saying that... I am just blessed to be spending it with him...


Too often now days do I think how overrated these holidays are now. They use to be so simple & now they seem so stressful! That is not what this day should be about. It should be about how much you love someone not just today but every single day that they are in your life & with you. I guess that is why I did not want no flowers that these places decided to jack up the price on this day just because they know these men will spend that much on them to give to their significant other, or go out to eat because it seems the easiest instead of cooking a home cooked meal together with more meaning! I just wanna sit at home & get kisses on the forehead all night long & I will be a happy girl!
