(K) Graduation For The Twins

Addy & Ava a set of my twin baby cousins graduated (K) this past Tuesday night! Ceremony started at 7 PM & ended by 8 PM. It was so cute seeing all the little ones!

As much as I loved seeing all the little ones it was so hard to take photos! All of them was just way to restless needless to say! Does this make me sad to some degree? Well yes but life goes on & at the end of the day I still love my baby cousins regardless of the fact that they would not be still long enough to take photos! At least I got a few..

All the (K) class had nursery rhymes to say & it was so precious! They even had a cute song with a cute little dance.. I loved it to no end! These little tiny bitty children was too dang cute for their own good..

Fun Friday Night In

Friday night Jeremy had both Mads & Hudson! So we did go out semi but it was to go from the house to Jer's parents house so that they could see the kids for a bit as well as us! 

After they had visited & such Jer had to go work on the race car for a bit so it was off to see Addison & Gracy! I just adore those kids to pieces! During our fun visit Gracy & Addison was doing the cup song! Mads knew it too of course so I guess Marty & I being the older two adults was clueless because we could not do that if we tried! I do great when it comes to the song & can sing right along with the girls but when it comes to moving that cup well its out of the question! 

Now do I wanna learn it? Yes absolutely! Do I think its gonna be easy? Oh hell no! It will be a challenge for me to say the least. But if it kills me I will learn to do both! Patience is a virtue needless to say.

Not only did we have tons of dancing & singing but we had dress up play with made up names! I love kids & their wild crazy imaginations... Marty & I had adult conversation in between the kids & fun!

After almost midnight it was time to head off & go to bed! All kids needed their sleep & that even included me yes! I had promised Mads that we would play one game of  Phase 10 so we did! Then she had to head off to bed!

1ST Letter To My Unborn Niece/Nephew

I just found out about you Thursday! I still cannot believe that I am going to be an auntie. I know as your arrival date approaches that it will become more real for me! I do not even know if you are a boy or girl yet but I am already wanting to know what you are.. 

I know we haven't met yet, but somehow I already love you. You don't know my voice but I promise you will! While your sweet mamma is being your little oven I will be those mittens that are always wanting to touch/feel you & talk to you! 

I must say the idea of my brother being a dad is kind of crazy! It's not that I think he won't be a great dad, I know he will be. It's that he is my little brother & it is tough to believe that he will be someones dad, you will understand once he gives you another sibling & makes me an aunt once again! A sibling relationship is a really special one. My brother & I have had plenty of ups & down but in the end we have still loved one another. 

I do not know your mamma well but I want to know her for your sake! So far she is sweet & I like her.. I hope you have her sweetness! She already has one daughter whom she named Mercy. Mercy your half sister is 16 months so by the time you arrive she will be almost 24 months old! Hello terrible 2's. 

I cannot wait to write you more letters that once older you will be able to read! However I am sure that before you are old enough to read these letters to yourself that I will have read them to you already! I cannot wait to be you auntie... I am going to spoil you like crazy whether you are a he or she! 

I will write you a letter next week showing you pictures of us in your immediate family... I cannot wait to share with you a little about each of us! I hope its something you can treasure later in life sweet one!

A Letter To My Baby Brother

You came into this world when I was 4 years old. I still remember waiting to get the news & it turned out you was a "boy" I was pissed I did not ask for a little brother I asked for a "girl" a little sister is what I wanted... 

All it took was one time to hold you in my arms & I was no longer upset. In fact I kinda liked the idea of having my own real life baby doll, it was great! I got to feed you, change you, & cuddle you but best of all I got to love you.

After leaving home & getting my own life & my own little family with each visit home I seen how much you was growing up & becoming a young man. Next thing I know you was graduating high school. I could not believe that I was that old!

Just this past month you turned 21 & I still cannot believe you have hit legal drinking age & that this year I will be turning 25! Time has flown by for us both it seems..

Thursday I found out that you was expecting! Say what? Are you trying to give your older sister a heart attack? I still cannot believe that your girlfriend told me instead of you that I was going to become an auntie! I had a lot of emotions that day.

I want you to know that I am here for you no matter what. That I have always wanted what is best for you in life. I wanted you to be happy & healthy always! I wanted you to marry someone whom loved you as much as you loved them.

I know when we was younger that we was super close but as we both grew up we grew apart! But even with growing apart I still loved you in my own way always baby brother..

I know you may be nervous, scared, terrified & so much more right now but please know that everything will be fine. If god did not think you could handle this then he never would have allowed for it to happen! 

You will be a great father! You know how I know that you have been a great brother! We have had our moments yes but even with them deep down I know we both love one another.  I see how you are with kids bubbie... You are so calm, understanding, patient, & so much more! Kids love you as much as they do me... I know your son or daughter will live a happy, healthy, life! 

I cannot wait to see you raise your child.. I know you will have a special bond with them! Remember you are not alone in this & that I am here when needed! Please remember that...

Sweet Letters

Baby Brother

I cannot believe your girlfriend told me I was to be an aunt yesterday before you did! Truth be told you still have not told me! I think you should tell me even if I already know just saying. I cannot believe you are my younger baby brother at just 21 having a baby! This is all still so crazy to me to be honest... & a whole other post coming for it believe me when I say that!

To Myself

Please let me have patience throughout this whole new process of becoming an aunt. The baby is due January 5th so I have some time to adjust thankfully... I know I will spoil it like crazy & I cannot wait! I know it will bring up feelings for me which I hope I can handle! I cannot wait to find out the gender & everything else EEK! You are not even here yet but I am already ready for you to arrive... I cannot wait for you to be able to say auntie :)

I do not know whether you are a boy or girl yet but I know whatever you turn out to be you will be loved! You will be joining a huge family on my brother's side! I do not know how big your family is on your mothers side! I know that I cannot wait to write you sweet letters that some day you will see & I will be writing your very first one this weekend!

Once More At The Lake With My Sweet Father

As of late yesterday I decided that I wanted some father/daughter time. I asked my father if he wanted to go fishing after I had gotten off work! He said yes without hesitation.. 

Growing up fishing was the one thing I would always do with my father that was something outdoors so I know he cherished it & still does even now to this day because he knows I am by no means anything but a city girlie girl.. Thus leading to most things outdoors me not liking! I love hiking,camping, & fishing the best. I have learned to deal or cope with other outdoor things but sometimes I still just stomp my foot down & say no way am I doing that...

Once father & I arrived to our destination we opened the back of the trunk bed in his truck & got out our pretty shiny fishing poles. Father has pretty much his whole life fished with fake bait while me on the other hand has always used real bait. 

Once we got down to the lake we took our stance & started to fish! Right away dad caught one. He must have tossed in his line right over top of that fish! Fish was biting good for the most part but not as good as the last time my father & I had fished together! Two hours later my father & I called it quits after 11 fish for me & 2 fish for him. It had gotten dark & we could not see anything thus leading to us calling it quits for the night.

I am always so thankful & blessed to be able to have father/daughter time! I know as years go by someday I will no longer be able to have this precious time with my father so I try to do things with him as much as time allows for us both.

I am loving that over this weekend I was able to spend time with Addison & Gracy...

I am loving that the sun finally started to shine because for the past I don't know say 5 days it has done nothing but rain! It has been awful..

I am loving that yesterday my movie finally came out on dvd! Hello Safe Haven :) I loved when I seen it in theater & I still love it even now!

I am loving that I finally got my parents surprise invites sent out to family & friends! Now all I have to do is wait for them to rsvp me...

I am loving that this week thus far has been productive! Its nice to finally be getting things caught up... A lot has been going on lately! So to finally be having things slow down has been very nice I must admit..

Weekend Catch Up

Friday night was spend at the shop! The boys worked on the cars & us girls had our own kind of fun... It was a tad bit chilly so we was in long sleeves & sweatpants. It was bittersweet though when it was time for Gracy & Addison to go to sleep! Addison curled up in my arms & started crying.. She did not want to go to sleep with me still not gone! I had to promise her that I would come back in the morning..

Saturday morning Jeremy & I headed back to the shop! The boys was hard back at work & us girls well we was lazy! Its the weekend so its fine to be lazy right? I painted Addison's fingers which she loved & in the process I was playing song pop with Gracy! Around noon I left to go home! I needed to get ready to meet my parents for lunch! We had Cheddar's to eat & it was good. Afterwards I went & saw Olympus Has Fallen! That was a great movie. I loved it very much & come Thursday I will do a review on it :) So look forward to it...

Sunday I had lunch with daddy at Cracker Barrel. Somehow managed to do nursing paperwork afterwards even though I did not want to! Then later that night Jeremy & I went & ate dinner at O' Charley's...

Monday after work the boys was in the shop working while Brooke, Addison, Gracy & I was busy watching the voice :) We had tons of fun watching the voice! However I must admit Addison kept speaking to us so we didn't pay much attention to our show oops! In the end it was fun though :) I knew at midnight that my movie would be out in stores so you better betcha that I stayed awake until then! Jeremy & I made a drive to Walmart. He got the movie Gangster Squad & I got my Safe Haven :) Once we got back to the house he watched his movie but I took my happy little self to bed!
