Hello New Hair Do

I love my new haircut... It now has tons of layers which I love but if I am being honest next time I may get even more then I do now! Kristie ended up cutting like 3 inches off but yet it still is so long. I truly just love it :) 

I think the best part though is that I do not have some stranger cutting my hair! I have a friend doing whom I grew up with in school which makes all the better..

 Most do not know this but Kristie & Pammie are the only two whom have ever cut my hair.. I have a freak out otherwise! I truly might have a panick attack if someone I didn't know tried.. I know that sounds crazy & that its just hair & can grow back but who wants their hair too look bad? Not I...

1. What is my favorite part of Fall? Goodness where do I even begin at... I love Pumpkins, Fall leaves, Halloween, windy weather, hot coco, Fall candles, Pumpkin Spice Latte, basically  I love anything & everything having to do with Fall :)

2. Do I have anything special planned for Fall? Hmm well I go to the smokies every year during Fall & have photos done so that is something I am looking forward too as well as family time up there for a few days! I also plan on going to plenty of haunted houses & woods to get scared half to death :)

3. What is Fall like in my area? Well its actually not too bad! Its super windy but its also so very nice to be snuggled up outside in blankets while reading the nook & such while getting to enjoy all the pretty tree colors!

4. What is my favorite football team to cheer for? I will forever & always be a Georgia Bulldog girl & Florida Gator girl...

1. My favorite scent is: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Spiced Pumpkin Cider, Pumpkin Apple, Autumn Sky, & Trick Or Treat... All those can count as one answer right? Ugh sorry ladies I cannot just pick one favorite scent! I have way too many & even the above is not all of them hehe... Too those whom truly have just one favorite go you!

2. My favorite food is: Barbecue Chicken 

3. My favorite sound is: Rain! I love a good rain outside while inside snuggled under some warm covers drinking hot coco all while reading a good book...

4. Favorite picture currently on my phone is: The photos of Ava! Sara just sent me a few new ones not too long ago.. Love my sweet niece!

5. Best memory of the year so far is: When I went back to the beach in May & Chicago back in July... I miss both something awful!

Never Forget 9/11

Days pass & months go by,

Years fade as time goes on.

Memories will pass and fade away,

But this one will never be gone.

I still cannot believe that it has now been 13 years since the attack... Yet not even years, months, or days pass that so many of  us are not still affected by that tragic day!

Loved ones were taken from us all & they are all missed so very much every single day even now 13 years later...

Thank you to every single person whom helped in some way on that tragic day! Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Nurses, Doctors, & so many other people! 

A Birthday Letter

On my 26th birthday, I debated whether to write my thoughts down or keep them in my head. But here is the amazing thing I have learned is that having a blog gives me the ability to reflect on a time in my life. So as I enter the final years of my twenties, I wanted to share some thoughts. My lessons, hopes, fears, dreams, & gratitude.. I wonder if you ever feel the same?

I just cannot believe that I am turning 26.. If someone ask me how old I am, my first instinct would be to say 23. I do not know why but I feel like that is just a good age not too old & not too young! If someone asked you the same exact question, what would your answer be?

I have learned so much over the last decade. Part of me wishes I knew then what I do now. The journey you go through to understand who you are, your values, beliefs & standards is truly amazing.  People have came & gone ( & for those whom are gone I truly am happy they are no longer in my life) Daddy once said if you can count your true friends on only your 10 little fingers then you are blessed & I could not agree more! Those are the friends whom will be in my life forever & always..

I have changed in a lot of ways that I never truly expected too. My ultimate learning? Always listen to your instincts, have the confidence, & conviction to trust in yourself.

I truly have so much to be thankful for! I have had a truly blessed life. Above all, I am thankful for my family. Its an amazing feeling to know that no matter what you have people whom support you & love you unconditionally. I have immense gratitude & love for my parents whom provided me with an amazing home & great education.

I can only hope that my last years in my twenties are just as great if not better then it was in my earlier twenties! Here is too fingers crossed that things turn out even better then they already are..
