Something Borrowed

Ladies,

This is an amazing movie...

I fell in love from the moment I first saw it!

I seen it for the first time with Dusten only three short days ago.

He told me would deny it because it is a girlie movie,

PS he loved it too just as much as me!

Dusten & I decided that a part of us was in this movie...

& I could not agree more.

How you ask?

Well I'll tell you!

Oh btw I will portray Rachel & Dusten will portray Ethan...

Ethan, Rachel, Darcy, & Dex

I understand that not all of it makes perfect since to you ladies,

But I am going to explain as best as I can:)

Bare with me please!

I am by no means 30 yet (thank goodness) such as Rachel in the movie...

Am I a lawyer?

Nope, however I am a nurse in real life!

I have not loved someone since law school, but I have loved them for 9 years now that is a long time...

His name is Drew not Dex & he has been in a relationship for a few months now & decided here while back to tell me the truth finally!
What was the truth?
Well it was that for 9 years now he has always cared as more then a best friend/brother.
I was shocked...
How does that relate to the movie you ask?
Well if you have seen the movie then you kinda see how!
Basically Rachel learns that Dex has always had a crush on her too since law school many many years ago but, only finds out once he is engaged to Rachel's best friend Darcy! She stand by & watches Darcy & Dex (kiss, hug, say i love you & much more) even though it is breaking her heart! To make matters worse she is the maid of honor in the wedding where Darcy & Dex would become husband & wife...
I will just be honest there is no way I could ever be the maid of honor in that situation! I guess I should feel lucky that Drew's girlfriend & I are not best friends!
If Drew ever decides to ask his girlfriend to marry him & ask me to be in the wedding my answer will be NO I cannot do it I'm sorry more can I be there for that day...
Will this happen?
I truly do not know the answer to that & may not for a very long time however, that is ok with me because I do not think I could handle it otherwise!
At the end of the movie Rachel gets her happy ending & gets Dex.
He does not end up marrying Darcy:)
Fingers crossed lets hope I get my happy ending as well...

Now to Dusten's part in the movie,
Dusten is not 6'3 nore is he a city boy!
In fact Dusten is like 5'9 or 5'10 maybe & is a country boy.
Dusten portrays Ethan so well in this movie, maybe actually a little better hehe...
In the movie Ethan is busy evading the affection of hopelessly love struck Claire, whom is constantly trying to get with Ethan & such, it is very amusing needless to say!
How does Dusten portray Ethan you ask?
Well this is now!
Dusten has two ex girlfriends one whom we call crazy & the other is called crazy psycho bitch! I nicknamed the one called crazy psycho bitch & Dusten nicknamed the other crazy.
Dusten does not normally have to deal with crazy except for every once in a great blue moon so she really is not that bad...
Little miss crazy psycho bitch always calls, text, & shows up all the time non stop! I truly do not see when she ever sleeps. Dusten yells non stop @ her telling her to stop & leave him alone, stop coming over & to stop showing up but it does not do any good!
In the movie Ethan is pretty lucky at least Claire is not as crazy as Dusten's ex girlfriend. I do not think Dusten is ever going to get his happy ending out of this like Ethan did all he had to do was move to London.....

PS this movie is amazing if you have not seen it then I highly recommend doing so otherwise you will be missing out! Oh they also are working on a second series to this movie It is called Something Blue I do believe. I cannot exactly remember what they decided on however I for one cannot wait to see it on DVD ;) Enjoy ladies

PS: Dusten told me I had to put all the above things up so he could get a kick out of it and always look back on it I thought it was funny how we both said our lives were in this movie so I went with it lol :)

Fill n Friday

1. Something popular that I can't stand/don't get is Planking! I find it so very stupid go find something else to do with your time...

2. Something unpopular that I secretly love is not going out! I use to love it when younger but now that I am older I actually love just cuddling up at the house watching a movie next to the fire... Is that bad?

3. When I've had a bad day I turn off my phone so one can text or call me then I take a nap! I feel so much better once I take them so about 3 hours later I will wake up & seem like things are fine again....

4. I'd prefer dinner date to breakfast date any day.

5. Something that makes me nervous is/was a first date! I was nervous, like butterflies in my stomach crazy huh....

6. Something worth fighting for is marriage: family: best friends: children: happiness: trust: love: dignity: I mean I could find so much worth fighting for. There is no way I could find or tell you just one!

7. when people think of me, i hope they think I am sweet, loving, fun to be around, & so full of life!

1. I would without a dout say chocolate! I mean we all know it is by far a girls best friend.... or if not it will be my best friend when I am wanting something with comfort involved....

2. Italy :) I just loved it there! The cutest thing every is the gondula....

3. Pumpkins, spiced cider, colors oh wait sorry you said just one... Well I am sorry but I can not name just one things because I mean my list could just go on & on for miles ;)

4. sleeping, watching movies, eating, I mean i could find all kinds of things :)

5. Yes I get flowers :) & yes I love to get them I mean it is just the sweetest thing ever to know that they are thoughtful enough to get me some!

Rejection In Gods Protection!

Ladies bear with me!

I was looking on Kristen's page @ www.allinmytwenties.blogspot.com to see if she had been having a blast in Brazil however I stumbled across several guest post instead...

One of those guest post came from Lou Lou @ www.pinkloulou-confessionsofa20something.blogspot.com/

I have followed both these sweet girls for almost a whole year now & I have enjoyed so much getting to learn about their lives on a daily basis....

Both are very forth coming about their lives and how they live it from day to day and I love that...

I think I love the part of even though I have never met either of those girls I feel as though I know them inside & out....

Some say you can never truly be friends with those whom you blog with well I am here to say otherwise!

I mean who else would you ever truly get to know inside & out, good n bad parts of their lives & so much more?

ill answer that not many.....

I feel blessed that I have been able to get to know these sweet girls through blog post :)

I bet you ladies are wondering what in the world I am posting well here goes it is called Rejection In Gods Protection :)

I found myself loving this post 100%.

There are days that I miss a certain person in my life but after 4 years its hard not too!

Some days I wonder if we both made the right choice in the end?

I do not by any means think that the choice I made or that he made was an easy decision!

It was hard for both of us!

I always think of him often especially during all the holiday seasons!

I do not ask if he thinks of me & apart of me does not want to know to be honest....

I finally am at peace with my decision and choice I made & I hope he is as well.

After seeing that Lou Lou could open up I decided maybe finally since a few years have passed I would finally tell my story of what exactly happened in my relationship & why it ended....

I am nervous but I want you ladies to know me & my life!

& to know my life & why it is the way it is now that part was a huge part of it....

I will tell you the good, bad, & ugly of what happened in a different post after this one :)

I hope you ladies enjoy it.....

But for now back to Rejection In Gods Protection

Right now you’re probably thinking, “Wait a minute, that doesn’t sound right. How can rejection be a form of protection?” But I’m not talking about rejecting by God. The Lord will never reject you – He will always love and accept you! The rejection I’m talking about is the rejection you sometimes face in your own life. When you feel like the world is rejecting you, whether at work, in your personal life or through the loss of something important to you, that may be God’s way of protecting you.

No matter where you are, you should accept it as the place God wants you to be and trust in God’s perfect timing. Thank God that He has seen in His wisdom to answer some of your prayers in unexpected ways and to answer others in the negative, because sometimes what we thought was the best for us wasn’t the best at all.

We should thank the Lord for all of the doors that He has opened and thank Him even more for the doors that He has closed in our lives. We should learn to trust that He knows what is best for us and is in control of our destinies. We may not understand everything that is happening and we can’t know what is in store for us in the future, but if we trust in Him, we can move forward knowing that He has our best interests at heart. After all, He knows the future and understands that there may be something far greater just around the next corner for us.

When we lose a job, go through a divorce, don’t get that promotion we wanted or face any other form or rejection or disappointment, we must remember to fight our discouragement and put our faith in God. The temporary rejection is God’s protection of our future. He is protecting us from some future hurt or sorrow by putting us on the proper path in the here and now. Yes, it can be a painful and harsh path to walk, but if we walk it in faith and allow God to comfort and keep us, we will get through the rejection and we will come out stronger on the other side, ready to accept the greater gifts He has waiting for us in the future!

Relax and learn to trust God. He is on your side. Ask God for His will and not your own. Being in God’s will is the safest place you can ever be. One of the most important aspect of faith is trusting that God will know what is right for you, even when you don’t understand His reasons. When it seems like your prayers aren’t being answered, it may be that God is protecting you from danger or sorrow that you can’t see, the timing isn’t right or that God has something far better planned for you that you haven’t even thought about. Give yourself over to Him completely and realize that any rejection you suffer from is only temporary here on earth, and that God’s plan is all-encompassing and will always prevail

SO WHAT:

1. That I have had 2 mt dew per day this week! I have needed that extra sugar kick.

2. That I am complaining about deer hunting season! I am so over this cold weather! Sorry boys.

3. That I am getting angry because little miss refuses to come out, her due date is this Friday! She is milking this for all it is worth! UGH...

4. That my friends & I went to a 1 mile haunted woods! I loved it but I yelled when someone didn't like the dark & turned on their cell phone light! If you do not like walking in the dark then do not come to a haunted woods where there is no lights plain n simple..... Thanks sincerely me angry one....

5. That I have yet to pick out a Halloween costume for the Halloween party! I have been too busy planning it & have not had time for costume thought... OOPS...

What I am Lovin!

I'm loving:

1. That this week is almost over!

2. ThaI t little miss will be here any day 9 months is too long to wait for her!

3. That I finally gave in & have decided to have a weekly menu board... I caved!

4. That I have made homemade meals all week! Its so much better! The only days I am not making homemade meals will be Friday night & Sunday night... Reason why you ask? Well here is the answer :) Friday night I will be eating with my family and one of my aunt & uncles at the FARMHOUSE! It is an amazing place to eat @.... Then Sunday night will be several of us celebrating a friends birthday out :)

5. Here has been my cute lil menu this week :

Monday- Pinto beans, Cornbread, Sour kraut & weiners as well as Fried patatoes

Tuesday- Meat loaf, Creamy corn, & Glazed carrots

Wednesday- Chicken parm sandwiches, Devil eggs, Cheesy patatoes,& baked beans

Thursday- Cookie dough dip & Mini deep dish pizzas

Friday- Farmhouse with Family

Saturday- Cookout food! Football time....

Sunday- Eat out for Brian's birthday

6. That it is October oh so very much! Very sad that it will be ending before we know it :(
